Rock of Ages, the "insanely fun" (Time Out New York) worldwide...

Rock of Ages, the "insanely fun" (Time Out New York) worldwide smash hit musical featuring a raucous mix of 28 eyebrow-scorching tunes, is now rocking nightly at The Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino. Set in L.A.'s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock of Ages tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Rock of Ages takes you back to the times of big bands with big egos playing big guitar solos and sporting even bigger hair! This hilarious, feel-good love story celebrates the great rock songs of the '80s including such sing-out-loud songs as "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," "I Wanna Know What Love Is", "Here I Go Again", "Don't Stop Believin'", and more. Parental Advisory Rock of Ages is all about having a good time but you should be aware that some of the costumes, dancing and language might not be appropriate for kids under the age of 14 (kids under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult). Remember, if you do bring them, they'll get to see you rockin' like you did back in the day! AGE LIMIT Under 14 Must Be Accompanied By An Adult Under 5 Will Not Be Admitted Into The Theatre

Very enjoyable and a lot for the money - 2 hours long! If you buy tickets at Venetian box office then be sure to tell them if you have a Venetian gambling card. Gets you 10% discount. Locals also get discount if you can prove a local Vegas address.

If you grew up in the 1960s or 1970s, you have to revisit your adolescent years by attending this show. Great fun, lots of audience singalongs.

My wife and I had a fun time checking out this show. The theatre felt cozy and the character and music was right on. The bar had a beer and shot special which was perfect for me. A good show for the money.

The show was good but not up to west end or Broadway standards, the music was excellent and the acting good but I wish they concentrated more on the music rather than the jokes which didn't always hit the spot. Also some of the material was very near the knuckle and would not suit everyone, we took our parents which... More

I went to the show expecting to be singing along to 80s rock ballads. Unfortunately the music was constantly interrupted by a banal story with puerile jokes and corny German caricatures. There were one or two moments when we could sing along, but for me the silly story ruined it.

On our last night in Vegas my husband and myself decided to watch a show, my husband isn't a big fan of shows but decided on rock of ages and I must say we were not disappointed, the cast was great, the music was fantastic and we already have our tickets booked for our next trip.

Just got back from Vegas and wanted to share my review of Rock of Ages. I had seen this show in Toronto a few years back, and was the reason I chose to take some employees as a "thank you" for working so hard throughout the year. The reason I chose this particular show, was becuase I thought it would... More
