Neat place to begin the Scenic drive in the Red Rock Canyon area. Very modern. Nice views out of the windows. Informative.

The visitor center staff was so engaging and were enthusiastic to share their knowledge and information. Inside was a typical visitor center….bathrooms, gift shop, and some information boards & displays. Outside was the tortoise sanctuary which is really worth your time, plus some beautiful gardens along the walkways. Aside from the sanctuary, you must also see the panoramic view from this location.

The Best Visitor's Center we have ever seen! We thought it was stunning. There are TWO parts to this Center. Part of it is inside but the best part is outside. Make sure you go outside. Panoramic views of Red Rock Canyon, live tortoises, beautiful and educational displays. Lots of plant and walkways. Lots of shade and places to sit. Very restful. Would go back again!!!

There's not much here. It's a good pit stop if you need (and the only full-service one on the one-way Scenic Loop), and has some maps, information, and a gift shop if you are so inclined. They do have a huge panoramic window looking across to the mountains which is neat, but seeing it outside is better. Overall, it's your typical basic visitor center/gift shop.

This is a great first stop when visiting Red Rock canyon.

There is a short film that runs continuously. You can get a park map, and get any questions answered.

The visitor center was more like a small museum. If you are doing the scenic drive you must stop at the visitor center!
They also had a small gift shop and clean bathrooms.

I parked and go in to ask for maps. One staff told me I was parked wrong. I was not as there are no signs to say I could not park there. The staff was so rude, I took the photos and left without speaking with anyone.

The scenery is beautiful. The visitor center has great information. The people there are very helpful. Entry into park is timed so you must register online and pay the entry fee. This isn't bad, but even with controls, the park is packed. It appears to work better if you're a hiker or a climber. And sadly, there were no burros too be seen.

A nice drive. I would recommend the Valley of Fire over Red Rock, but it is still a good way to spend a few hours.
