- MJDray13 contributionsFunny but over pricedHaving read mixed reviews on this I was interested to see for myself. Very funny both guys were great and played of each other well. Being British a few of the jokes seemed more British humour so fell a little dead. What I would say though is not worth the price. At around $70 a ticket vs around $110 for MJ one which has a huge cast an elaborate set. If you can get tickets for around $30/40 then go see it.Visited October 2023Travelled with friendsWritten 9 October 2023
- newmodelarmy1972Sutton, United Kingdom218 contributionsTip for cheap ticketsTip Go to the matinee and buy your ticket at 1pm on the day from the Box office in the Horseshoe Hotel itself. They gave us 50% off the ticket price. We bought the cheapest tickets anyway and went to the theatre 30 mins before the show, as it wasn't sold out the Usher then moved us forward to the premium seats anyway. Three top price seats for less than half the price of the cheapest ones. Play was OK to, took a while to get going but there's enough laughs to pass the Time.Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 30 October 2023
- Ken443 contributionsFun, fun, fun showVery entertaining and hilarious presentation of the 7 Harry Potter books. Once the guys managed to wake up the audience and get them into it, it took off. Many hilarious moments, whether rehearsed or spontaneous...you could never really tell which. Audience participation helped feed the performers as people really got in to the Quidditch match, even scoring for the first time in the entire run of the show according to Nick. And the kids taking down the Golden Snitch was priceless...the performance of the Gryffindor seeker was completely mundane until he got to use his beater bat on James, the snitch, taking the championship for us. And the little girl, the seeker for losing Slytherin, volunteering to take one in the face from Nick's soaker so the 'old people in the audience' wouldn't get wet was so selfless, hilarious and pointless as he soaked them anyway...and Gryffindor as well. And the dragon was worth waiting for. LOL This show is one not to be missed, whether you're a Harry Potter fan or not. Tickets are also reasonable.Visited February 2024Travelled soloWritten 18 February 2024
- Dawn BrightToronto, Canada3 contributionsPotted Potter at NiagaraCaught this show at Niagara Falls Casino. It was exceptional! It was breathlessly funny, harking back to the vaudeville era of comedy with a wonderful modern twist. The performers were exceptionally gifted comics and the praise this show has received around the world is more than justified! I have seen some negative reviews here and I hate to say it, but they ‘just don’t get it’! But if you understand comedy and you are able to embrace the silliness this is a wonderful treat for the whole family!Visited July 2024Travelled with familyWritten 28 July 2024

Denver show - honestly, I'm insulted. The ticket options were $80 or $100 per person, and the set+props couldn't have amounted to more than $200 total and it was a PACKED house. (Spoiler a dozen people walked out that I am aware of.) I'm trying to be fair as this show is likely a hit with kids, but the marketing says "for all ages" when in reality, it is for children under 13 years old. We would have left 10 minutes in if we hadn't paid $700, collectively, for seats. Clearly the two gentlemen on stage were having a great time, and I respect that, but it was more of an improvement show. I wouldn't pay more than $20 to see an improve show...

Hate to say that we were very excited about this, but were disappointed. We (a 36-year old and her mom) love Harry Potter, and in the past have enjoyed shows like "Star Wars in 30 minutes," so I thought we'd like this.
The two actors put their all into it, and it's very energetic, but I felt about 30 years too old for the humor and style. There were cringey puns, poop jokes, silly random humor (funny loud voices and exaggerated faces, etc.) I think kids under 10 would enjoy it, but most of the audience was middle-aged adults.
We paid the same amount for this as a world-class and much funnier magician (Matt Franco). That was an amazing experience. Unfortunately for the same price, this did not compare in entertainment value.

If you are a Harry Potter fan, this will be 70 minutes of hysterical laughter and smiles. Did you read or see at least half of the movies or books? If yes, this show is for you. Someone vaguely familiar with Hogwarts will probably be totally bored with the show. Remember, it’s a PARODY of 7 books and 8 movies. The numerous current pop-culture references are extremely funny . . . depending on your pop IQ.
These two actors have such incredible, non-stop energy that they literally have audiences on their feet during the performance. The dialogue well is very well written and the jokes meticulously crafted. Truly worth every penny we paid for admission.

We saw this show in December and it was hilarious. We are British and totally understood their sense of humour. I think a lot of Americans in the audience may not have ‘got’ all the jokes, for example the joke about the sourcerers stone V the philosophers stone. I don’t mean that nastily. We also knew it was a comedy show and expected a slapstick type show (which it was) but I think a lot of people, particularly those with children, were expecting something else. The show is based around Harry Potter so having an understanding of the books is good but it’s definitely more a comedy sketch show. If you go, expect two guys with some basic props making some very funny jokes in a cleverly written show.
We really enjoyed it. Our only negative would be it was pretty expensive for such a low budget show in a small theatre.

This was a disgrace to my love of all things Harry Potter. Thank God they cut it short at 70 minutes instead of 90 as this is time in my life I will never get back. Wasted an additional hour waiting in line to get in since there isn't assigned seats. The theater itself is small with some posts blocking views. Daughter and spouse hated it also. It was also extremely pricey. Go see anything else. I don't know why this got good reviews.... Cirque and David Copperfield were truly entertaining! This show...I just want a refund.

This two-man show is both a send-up spoof and affectionate nod to the " Harry Potter" books and movies. If you are not familiar with Harry Potter the show will make no sense. As fans we enjoyed the show and at 70 minutes was the perfect length. The theater is small, but had good site lines except for one corner where nothing was going on anyway after the opening minute, so the cheaper seats are worth getting. Both actors were excellent. Be sure you pay attention to the special effects dragon (No CGI)...

Some much needed eccentricity on the otherwise mad strip. Strange place for this show to be I guess but the small and intimate venue works and the actors keep the whole audience engaged from the first minute to the last. A great way to add to your Vegas experience.

If you are looking for a big budget, bright lights, huge cast and stunning props show give this a miss. If you appreciate sharp, witty, no frills but all about the performance shows, this is an absolute must! A very insightful and clever hour or so, performed by two very talented and funny guys. We didn't stop laughing. The dragon is spectacular!

I'm amazed at the high reviews for a show that charges the same as MJ Live yet has minimal props. It was cute and at most worth $20 for the acting, stuffed animals and lack of...I don't know, set, props, thrills.
I feel whoever is ranking these high, must've paid under $20 a seat.
Be prepared to be amazed at the amount of money missing after this experience

I saw the show on the the 28/12/22 and I found the actor playing 'POTTED 2' just so unnecessarily annoying. Perhaps it is because I'm a Brit and the character was aimed at an American audience? Whilst the actor playing character 'POTTED 1' was great, the whole show was shockingly confused, lacking in focus and was aimed at an indeterminate audience. They kept mentioning 'teachers' and many of the small audience started wooing, so perhaps it is just aimed American teachers? (but certainly not British tourists).
I love the theatre and I would recommend (to varying degrees) pretty every show I have ever seen other than this. It was abysmal. It was over priced. And it was an insult to the audience (and many of them looked a little lacking in their 'personal cultural capital index scoring'). If you are a Brit, you may find this show somewhat tedious.

How much of a mob scene is it to get seats?
Written 25 July 2019
Depending on what price level seating you have you will be seated in that area of the theatre. The theatre usually opens 15 minutes before every showtime and 30 min before Sunday shows.
Written 31 July 2019
How is seating handled, as there don’t seem to be assigned seats. Is it a madhouse trying to get a seat?
Written 23 July 2019
It's general admission seating. You wait in a line according to what price level ticket you bought. When the doors open you're seated first come first serve.
