Play where Tiger Woods won his first tournament, and the "RAT PACK" played and entertained. When you play golf at Las Vegas National Golf Club, you will forget you are in the desert. This exquisite championship golf course, conveniently located only 5 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, is the former host of the PGA Tour’s Tournament of Champions, Sahara Invitational and the Las Vegas Invitational. Classic in design, this course combines rolling fairways, glistening lakes and greens well protected by palm, pine and olive trees. Just after completion in 1961, The National, then called the Stardust Country Club, hosted its first professional golf event, the LPGA Championship. From that date forward history was made. The layout, designed by Bert Stamps, is traditional and is a challenge for the best of players. The National has become a landmark over the last 50 years. It was host to the movie “Casino”, starring Robert DeNiro, Sharon Stone and Joe Pesci.

Didn't expect much based on what I heard and it was fine, especially considering it was only $75 (most courses around here are $100+) and conditions were ok and pace of play was good. Went out right after outing was complete so 3 of us played in just under 4 hrs. Layout is pretty good, but not many memorable holes.... More

Las Vegas Golf Club is located only 15 minutes from the Stirp and only 21.00 dolllars in a cab ride. Easy walking track and short holes on the bad 9 to make great scores. Good players who hit long can score. Thanks to Brian and the young lady at the Bar & Grill I enjoyed two days of Golf in... More

It is neat with the memorabilia everywhere. Playing down the fairway where Joe Pesci hit the golf balls at the FBI plane, the course Sam Rothstein lived on, and all kinds of big shots played at. But, that was then. This is now. The gold course was in bad shape, the greens were sparse and bumpy, the fairway grass was... More

I have played several rounds at the "Las Vegas National" over the years. It is and has always been a challenging course to play. The staff are always very helpful, and keep the course looking and playing Great. A good course for the money. You can't go wrong.

This was our first time golfing in Las Vegas. The course was very historic with memorabilia in the clubhouse. The fairways were in fair shape. Greens were good and fast. Typical with older courses the green were postage stamps surrounded by sand. Overall it was a good experience.

Layout and course set up is great, I imagine this course 25+ years ago was amazing. Too bad it is still stuck in the casino movie era. Was neat to see the Robert Deniro house. For the price it's what I expected, other courses are 250 a person this was 250 for two with rental clubs. Tons of beat up... More

Was pretty disappointed with this property. Great classic layout, but has seen better days. mind you it was the off season. All the houses around the course were run down and an eye sore. Range has seen better days (20 years ago). If you have the opportunity to play some where else, Do it! way nicer golf courses around.

I played this track and it is a throw back of sorts. Driving range - i thought I was in the Tin Cup movie - kinda lousy. the course has very interesting green complexes - sand guards many of the greens so they can tuck the pins - it is relatively flat so it could be an easy walk. Play... More

Played this course on Oct 29/2014 and booked through Golfnow. Embarrassed to say we paid $90. each to play this dog track. Flew in from Calgary that day and selected this course based on reviews and proximity to the airport. The staff is good, I will say that. The rating I give this course is based on the course condition... More
