Play where Tiger Woods won his first tournament, and the "RAT PACK" played and entertained. When you play golf at Las Vegas National Golf Club, you will forget you are in the desert. This exquisite championship golf course, conveniently located only 5 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, is the former host of the PGA Tour’s Tournament of Champions, Sahara Invitational and the Las Vegas Invitational. Classic in design, this course combines rolling fairways, glistening lakes and greens well protected by palm, pine and olive trees. Just after completion in 1961, The National, then called the Stardust Country Club, hosted its first professional golf event, the LPGA Championship. From that date forward history was made. The layout, designed by Bert Stamps, is traditional and is a challenge for the best of players. The National has become a landmark over the last 50 years. It was host to the movie “Casino”, starring Robert DeNiro, Sharon Stone and Joe Pesci.

Old course with history. Tiger's first victory was here in 1996. The pro shop and the clubhouse is super old, but the service was great. Went out in a Golf Now deal and since it was blazing hot, let let us go out right away....More

Sadly this old girl has seen better days. The course it self was in rough shape. The houses surrounding it, are in worse shape for the most part. The stream running through it was full of debris, discarded clothing, bedding and living utensils left from...More

Thoroughly enjoyed walking this wonderful course. The history of the place is obvious as soon as one steps into the charming clubhouse. Welcoming and exceptionally helpful staff could not have done more for us on a really chaotic Friday morning. A frost delay and a...More

My husband golfed here on our trip to Vegas. It's a quick ride from a strip hotel and gorgeous views. Try the golf boards. I arranged his golf ahead of time as a present and the staff was wonderful.
