Worst bar in las vegas
Sep 2021 • Family
We had the worst experience at the 108 bar, the bartender JAMES was very rude, horrible and disrespectful, I am never going back !

Great View but Terrible Dinner
Sep 2021
The view was amazing and we were very excited for a nice night out. The food was obviously more expensive than regular restaurants, we expected that. What we didn't expect was for the food to be as bad as it was. The calamari was rubbery & gross, the filet mignon was bland, and the lobster tails were tough and dry. Even the bread wasn't very good!

A BIG SHOT of Adrenaline
Aug 2021
We did the observation deck and big shot ride. In retrospect, it might have been a bit more dramatic at night. During the day, the views are nice but not a ton of wow factor. The upside was that during the day it was very quiet - in fact what felt abnormally so as compared to the rest of Vegas. The big shot ride was thrilling - a highlight for our 10 and 12 year olds. It is a bit odd to seemingly put your life in the hands of what appeared to be disinterested teenagers. But we survived , so no harm no foul. Price tag was a bit rich for the experience but not wildly in a city where so much is overpriced.

Run away fast
Sep 2021
While the room was average , walking outside this hotel was like playing Russian Roulette with a fully loaded gun. We were trying to walk to the Sahara but turned around after being offered crack 3 times and violently! Stay away from the Strat ! It’s in the beyond ghetto. It does have great restaurants, but will never stay there again. It’s too far and is in the ghetto. I’m from Cleveland and this area scared me. It is beyond beyond ghetto.

We had some family members stay here, and we went to the MJ live show and we must say this was an awesome show and have already recommended friends to check it out when they visit in a few weeks.

Some good things, some bad things
Aug 2021 • Family
Went here around noon with my daughter. They have a military discount so we saved $8.00 (every little bit helps). We were told that the rides were not open yet for the day (I believe they open at 2:00) but we could return anytime during the same day with our ticket. We contemplated going back at night for night views but I would not have felt comfortable going back there at night with just me and my teenage daughter. The area was sketchy. There are signs everywhere that marijuana use is not permitted on the property; however, we walked by people outside the entrance smoking marijuana and smelled it in the parking garage elevator on the way back to the car. The parking garage elevator area was filthy and the garage was sketchy as well.
The views from the top were amazing. They have interactive screens that show where different landmarks are on the inside deck. I was disappointed that we could not walk the full way around either deck. The inside deck had a private event going on so at least half of the deck was closed and the outside deck has limited area due to the rides.
Overall, I was a little disappointed with my experience. It’s definitely something I’m glad I did once but won’t do it again. If I had known that there would be limited area for observation before going, my experience may have been better.

Lights, camera, action
Jul 2021
Lots and lots of lights, illuminated signs, people wondering around. Many places to eat, gamble, shop. It is the strip in Las Vegas and if you are here worth wandering around for at least a little while.

a little pricey but great view
Jul 2021
If you want to go up to the skypod observation deck, its about $30 per person. We had a groupon to make it $22 per person instead. the on top of the world restaurant is way to pricey for me. there is a bar called 108 drinks where you can get the same view while you are having a drink with your sweetie. this could be family friendly also.

It's worth the cost.

Dinner is only way to go in my opinion to get to observation deck and cocktail lounge below. Great view of Las Vegas and great food at restaurant. Lounge has bar and ice cream with some unique flavors. I think it's a must do dinner night if you can afford it. Yolo memories.
