We stayed 2 nights at 4 Queens Hotel and had a great experience at Fremont Street. The hotel was very clean and quiet. Our room was much less expensive than Strip hotels. Buses are convenient for visiting the Strip. Fremont Street Experience is amazing to...More

This is a lost opportunity. It could be a place to experience Las Vegas history and the original Strip with some modern fun thrown in. Instead, it is nothing more then street vendors mostly dressed as some character trying to collect a few bucks for...More

Definitely need to go downtown at least one of your nights in Vegas! The light show over Fremont street is spectacular & a must see if you haven't yet! Several small casinos are easily accessible to one another plus street vendors, live bands playing on...More

The first thing you will notice is the crowd. It's 180° opposite from the strip crowd. There is plenty of buzz and activity all night long, with 3 stages playing live music (mostly rock&roll) all night. The light show every hour is very cool. Try...More

My absolute favourite place in Vegas!!! Such a FUN atmosphere - we had drinks served by amazingly talented bartender, variety of entertainment (male sexy dancing Marilyn Monroe, lit hula hoop dancer, DJs, Elvis impersonators, etc). Watching the screen above is amazing... and the zipliners. Just...More

Fremont street - what a fun area of Vegas. Cheaper on the pocket than the Strip. Lots of free shows, live music and street entertainers. Easy to get to from the Strip, buses every 15 minutes, 8 dollars for a 24 hour pass or 20...More

This old strip area of Las Vegas is an almost overlooked area yet offers a great break from the glitzy lights of the new strip. Taking it back to casinos and neon lights, the Freemont Street Experience is the place to be with a covered...More

Last time we visited Freemont street we stayed at the Stratosphere and walked to the area.....this isn't really the easiest way to get there any more and public transport bus is by far the easiest and possibly the best way if staying on the strip....More

I remember when I used to drive through this end of town, then stroll up and down the street waiting for the show to begin. The casinos, treats, and cheap eats used to make this fun. We came up this time and started off from...More

What do you do with your bag whilst on the zip line. Are there any lockers and if so do you then have to walk back to the start to pick your bag etc up?

From what I observed, many "zippers" had a mesh black bag attached to their harness. That way, sunglasses, camera, pocket change, caps, etc. would not fall on the people below.

They don't have to be closed toe, but they can't be flip flops. Must strap to your feet.
