Small area, secondary to the Strip, to see weird and wonderful people and live music. Spent 2 hours there.

Fremont st.
Sep 2021 • Couples
Area is run down, dirty and full of homeless people. Area smells of marijuana and was the only bad part of our trip. I would never go back again as I remember it from years ago as cleaner with lots of shops and activities. I would rather go to a county fair then Fremont st. It’s time for a bull dozer!!!!!

Horrible place!
Sep 2021
This place was horrible - filled with homeless, trashy people, and crackheads. We didn’t feel safe. Don’t waste your time. It’s filthy too. A limo tour dropped us off, we stayed 10 minutes and left quickly. We do NOT recommend this place.

An experience not to be missed.

This is old downtown Las Vegas in my opinion. If you are staying on the Strip, it is best to take an Uber or Lyft to get here. I got dropped off and picked up at the Circa casino 8 Fremont Street. On Fremont street there is an audiovisual display Led lights that plays out on a canopy arching over four blocks of the street. Several older casinos, live bands on stages in the street. Lots of people watching are just some of the things you will see there.

Nice Stroll
Sep 2021
It's a big of fun to stroll this pedestrian area and step into some of the casinos. But this is not the best of Vegas and can seem quite cheesy.

Brimming with excitement
Jun 2021
We walked from one end of the Fremont Street Experience to the other enjoying the buskers and the bands, the people watching and the fun atmosphere. Despite the construction going on around us due to the extreme heat which caused the work to be done at night.

Sensual
Sep 2021
It was sensual. But it should not deter you from visiting the "sin" city. Lots of artists trying to do their tricks. Music, ladies, beer etc.

Sensory Overload
Aug 2021
The Fremont Experience is actually an old road that has been closed off and a light show added as a roof. It basically provides a "boardwalk" for most of the casinos in the Fremont area. The actual overhead light show and music show is interesting to see. Everything else going on can be a sensory overload. We went on a weekend and they have several stages and the music was very loud and overpowering. If you like marijuana, it is great, because everyone is smoking it down there. You pretty much get a second hand high. There are tons of street vendors selling all kinds of items. There are also a lot of homeless people in the area.

interesting but...

The lights are awesome and you feel like you are inside the light. The Golden Nugget is the oldest casino in Vegas and worth a visit. While it is a touristy place I felt rather uncomfortable in that neighborhood after dark.
