If you have General Admission tickets, bring binoculars. Seriously. Also, bring a cooler of goodies and drinks as well as a blanket to wrap yourself in. You will not be disappointed! Beautiful views and great acting; it can't be beat. Probably not the best show...More

This non-profit organization does a fantastic job of bringing Shakespeare to the masses (for a price). The presentation is hysterically funny. We bring our own food, wine, and something to keep us warm in the evening. Our group is sitting at three tables for two....More

My wife and I saw two plays as Sand Harbor and enjoyed both. One was The Hound of the Baskervilles and other was Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost. The venue is great, an amphitheater right on the lake with comfortable seating. The plays were a lot...More

The plays are always well performed but this venue is unique and spectacular. The backdrop for the stage is the Lake!

Shakespeare is performed outside on Lake Tahoe with the most wonderful view. The performances are in the evening so bring a jacket and some chairs. Food is available but you can also bring your own picnic. The whole experience is well worth a visit.

I have been to this event several years. It as always been an enjoyable experience. Consistantly good performances, nice selection of food and wine, and a spectacular venue. Shorter performances early in the day are offered for families with small children.

Sorry, the season is over. There is one more music performance - Trails and Vistas - but no more theater.

Yes, it can, particularly on weekends. The good news is that day visitors are leaving about 5-5:30 p.m. when the evening guests for Shakespeare arrive. Go early, and plan on having a picnic supper outside.

I don't know. I am sure you can find it on line. Not sure they start that early. I think it does not start till June. We are expecting snow this week.
