Nice place to ski for a family. The guys enjoyed it. Excellent clam chowder soup! Not enough seating in the dining area. No where to sit if you are not skiing besides taking up a dining table.

Diamond Peak is a lot more affordable than most resorts in the area. Beautiful location and wonderful lake views, but not enough runs for beginners. As a first timer, there were only 2 runs I could safely attempt. Because it's cheaper than most resorts it attracts huge crowds, and not everyone is considerate of each other. My friend's lunchbox got... More

Great ski destination! Well groomed, friendly staff and not overly crowded. Diamond Peak offers a little something for every level of skier, including lots of good blue and black slopes for intermediates like us. Breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe from many runs and top of the mountain was nothing shy of majestic.

It was only my second time skiing. I took a private lesson (9 a.m. lessons are less expensive) with Peter Price and he was excellent. I did well on the "school yard" slope, but found the other green a bit more difficult because skiers were barreling off of black and blue slopes on to it and it made it difficult... More

We were just hit with a ton of snow, the conditions were crazy good! I had a blast skiing all over the mountain. This is a small mountain with big terrain. Perfect for beginners and challenging for experts. Good trails for all levels of skiing. YOu can get lessons, they have great lodges with bars and wonderful food.

Went there on my birthday and skied for free! Fantastic views of Lake Tahoe. Snow could have been better, but that's up to God, not Diamond Peak, and what was open was great. One run gives the illusion like you're in an infinity pool, skiing into Lake Tahoe. Had drinks at the summit lodge and enjoyed even more breathtaking views.... More

Kids lessons were perfect! My child had a lot of fun and learned how to snowboard in two hours. Instructors were patient and friendly. Definitely recommend it. Amazing view and place. Nice station for beginners (I've only tried the beginners lift) The problem was because was too crowd. I took one hour to get the equipment and about half hour... More

Diamond Peak has a great Schoolhouse lift for kids to learn on. Plus, kids 6 and under ski free so you cannot beat that. For more advanced skiers, there are a few runs that will keep you excited, but it truly is a great all around mountain for beginners and intermediate skiers.

Diamond Peak is a local, family friendly ski resort that makes everyone feel welcome. The views of Lake Tahoe are amazing, and a day wouldn't be complete without lunch at Snowflake Lodge! Free Busses run from many locations in Incline Village so there's no need to drive and hassle with parking. You'll arrive happy and have a stress free ski... More
