Sand Harbor probably has the most diverse landscape in Tahoe and there are epic photos to be taken. The colors change throughout the day depending on the location of the sun. This is one place on Tahoe to spend a day at to catch all...More

This was one of our three favorite spots on our week-long drive around Lake Tahoe. Beautiful crystal clear blue water and sandy beach areas. The walk on the boardwalk was lovely. Wished we could have kayaked there, but didn't have time.

I recommend if you take your family here you first make sure you have everything including the kitchen sink. Put the kids on a leash. Some leaches come with three separate holders so you can actually have three separate kids on it. Makes it so...More

This is a Nevada State park, about $10 a car load to enter. Truly one of the most beautiful spots. Walk around to see the 3 different areas, especially the middle cove. Beautiful all seasons but summer will have you in the water.

A great place to stop along the ride around Lake Tahoe. Take in the beautiful views, walk down to the lake, have a picnic. Lovely spot for an outdoor wedding.

Beautiful, beautiful setting. Somewhat limited menu, but plenty of good food to choose from. We had a light lunch of hamburgers and hot dogs that we thoroughly enjoyed eating on a large outside deck shaded by both pines and umbrellas. The food was a good...More

I prefer the sandy beach next to the Shakespear Theatre. The rocky cove is small and this year dangerous because big rocks lurk below the surface so rock jumping is risky,
