We honestly loved this place so much - we returned multiple times just to enjoy the scenery. October is a GORGEOUS time of year to see the leaves change. The water is so clear and it is absolutely worth every moment spent there.

We saw "Love's Labor's Lost" here. As usual, another awesome view on Lake Tahoe. Easy access off of Rt 28. Food & beverage stands, flushing rest rooms, and Shakespearian entertainment.

The views are incredible. The path is easy to walk and to find. The color of the water is unlike anywhere outside of the Carribbean - the most amazing blue! A must do.

There is a lovely boardwalk walking loop along part of the beach at Sand Harbor. It's probably no more than a mile. A nice strong on a Fall day. Dog friendly.

When we were there in July, it was often calm in the morning, and if it got choppy, it was in the afternoon, usually after 1pm. I had heard that this is normal pattern.

I prefer the sandy beach next to the Shakespear Theatre. The rocky cove is small and this year dangerous because big rocks lurk below the surface so rock jumping is risky,
