Friendly staff and few crowds on weekdays

We took group lessons 3 times during our recent visit. I would recommend afternoon lessons as there are fewer people, but in the morning get there early to secure your spot!

We saved time by renting gear and passes at The Hyatt were we were staying. Our 10&13 both had their 1st sking and snowboarding lessons with very kid friendly instructors.

Very affordable ski village with children, our 6 year old had free lifts. The slopes were nice and you have a view of the lake. It is best to rent the skies from them as it is economically package for the amount of days (better than local ski rental). The lodge is comfortable a little overpriced for the typical cafeteria... You can tell that the instructors are trained and really geared for children and beginners. They have terrific tactics for teaching and keeping the beginner engaged and feeling enthused about their progress. Hey it's not always easy learning to ski - so the instructor can make or break one's spirit.

The wife and I took the beginner ski class. We both thought the instructor Nicole did a great job. We learned the basics. Enjoyed the all day skiing. Everybody at Diamond Peak were extremely helpful and courteous. We would totally recommend this skiing experience for everyone. Top notch facility, and reasonably priced.
