If you need a break from Las Vegas and all of the things that go with it, take a ride out to Henderson and take a look at the Clark County Museum. Entrance is two dollars and there is an exhibit hall with history of Las Vegas and the peoples of the Nevada desert. The exhibit also has lots of... More

We stopped in while my parents were visiting Las Vegas. Just a lazy afternoon in Henderson brought us to driving by and stopping in. I'm glad we stopped because there is a lot of cool history that I learned in our one hour visit. I've lived here 10 years and it is very cool to learn more about the history... More

Great for Vegas history. Ghosy town was neat. The kids and I really enjoyed the street with the houses and chapel. Nice afternoon for family for only 6 dollars.

A great value, my wife and I have visited a number of times since 2010. Always enjoy walking through the street of period houses from the 50's.

This museum was a delight....much more than expected. There is interest for all ages. I loved the out side self walking tour of all the buildings, and the inside very interesting. It is a snapshot in time of Clark County western heritage, and that is what I liked the best. There are many artifacts and the buildings which invite you... More

The price was right -$1.00 for seniors. It starts with an indoor museum describing the history of Las Vegas. Then out side they have moved in homes from different eras that you can tour. There is also a wedding chapel that was used up until the 70's. Nice change of pace from other Vegas attractions.

Got there when they opened and spent some time at the out buildings first. They were nothing short of amazing. Well worth the time. Museum had small admission fee of $1 adults, and $2 seniors/children. Small but very interesting. Total visit including outbuildings took 1.5-2 hours. Loved the period houses the most. Definitely a must-do if you are in Vegas... More

I was surprised how much I enjoyed visiting the museum. I've lived here 30 years and didn't know it was 10 miles from my house until my friends came to town and wanted to go see it. Now I will take other people there.

As far as attractions go, this place is very inexpensive and well worth twice the price ($1-$2 pp). Easy access from Boulder Highway and convenient parking. Interesting street exhibit where you step back in time, visiting different houses and seeing how the residents may have lived. There are also cars, a travel trailer, a chapel and a print shop to... The Clark county museum has a great exhibit of the history of Las Vegas showcasing actual p[people who lived in and around the city from its founding to the present. In addition there is a restored village much like Mystic Seaport or Sturbridge Village in Connecticut and Massachusetts. There was also a small ghostown and a "graveyard" of old antique... More
