Melissa, Thank you very much for visiting the Museum of American Speed and taking the time to review us. Our museum restoration shop restores our vast collection of vintage racing engines to the state that they can be placed on display. They also design and fabricate a custom engine stand that is different for each engine. The museum is always... More

Puckcarver, Thank you for taking the time to review The Speedway Motors Museum of American Speed after your recent tour. We are glad that you enjoyed your tour of the Speedway Motors Warehouse, they don't normally allow people to tour the warehouse so it was cool that arrangements were made in advance so that could happen for your bus group.... The museum has some very nice items on display. My overall rating is average, because of our tour guide was not very accommodating for allowing us time to looks at several of the display. It seemed his was more interested in getting to the end so he could go on break. We finished the tour 30 minutes before the other... More

This museum is one of a kind. Your staff were kind enough to let us tour before regular hours so that we could continue our travel. The quality and unique collection of engines and pedal cars is first class. I highly recommend anyone to stop and tour your facility. Thanks for a great time.

Choppeda, thanks for the review. We are always glad to have Bonneville people stop in and visit us. We do try to accommodate people that are traveling long distances when ever possible. Sometimes just a call ahead will allow us to arrange for staff or Docents to help out travelers. We also want to remind you that we are now... More

I was amazed to find so many of the well know cars from the 50's 60's and earlier . Lots of strip cars , and some rare custom cars and TV -movie cars along with many early antique cars .

This is truly a world class automotive museum. For anyone the least bit interested in things automotive, it is a "don't miss." The variety is impressive: Indy cars, stock cars, classic cars, sprint cars, and more. There is even a whole floor devoted to pedal cars and models. The displays are very professionally realized. My favorite is the museum's interpretation... More

Jay, Thanks for the review. We are glad that you enjoyed our "Indy Pit". We hope you were able to have one of our Docents speak on all the historic cars and engines located in that area, if not be sure to do that on your next visit. We should have our new pedal car area open in the spring... More

My wife were doing a road trip from AZ, Northern Idaho, Montana South Dakota and into Nebraska. Being that were both gearheads, we try to stop at any/all auto museums along the way. For me growing up in SoCal and seeing cars and history that I remembered on display was perfect. A great stop on the way back to AZ.
