Visiting my mom and dad we decided to take the kids out. Wow! It was so much fun. We spent 2 hours or so and never did the same things for more than 15 minutes. The highlight for the kids was the big cuckoo clock with the foam blocks. We were crawling around in there for 45 min or more.... More

I have taken my children to yhe children museum for 16 years. I even went there when i was a child. It is a great place for children's imaginations to grow. Fun for all ages. Even my teenage likes to dress up and play with his younger siblings. It brings out the kid in all of us. We have even... More

We had twenty minutes to kill and they were closing soon. They let us in for no charge. The kids found plenty of things to do and had a complete blast!

This place has three floors of educational exhibits that cater towards children (10 and younger, though my 8 y.o. was already getting bored, but she's been twice before) that blend science, learning, and practical exploration of our environment. The construction countdown playset on the bottom floor is a new fun addition, and my daughters loved the dress-up stage and water... More

Occasionally the Lincoln Children's Museum has Adult Takeover Night. It was a good experience, though I'm not sure I'd do it again. There's plenty of "adult-sized" games provided, but there's inevitably always a line for the games. I noticed that people playing the games tended to be in groups of 4, but you could play them with just two people... More

My husband and I took our 6 year old son. We had a great time but I would say 6 was definitely on the brink of being too old to really enjoy everything. I think the 4-5 and under kids would really love all there is to do at this Children's museum.

The museum is at least a monthly trip for us. It is great for babies to probably 10-11. There are 3 levels so it is easy to keep an eye on multiple kids. They have a new cuckoo clock that has so many fun things for kids to do. My boys can spend an hour sending blocks up, building the... More

This is one of the most requested places to visit from my grandchildren. They enjoy exploring the various "rooms"/settings in the museum. They also enjoy the numerous hands-on activities available for them. This is a great way to spend a couple of hours in the day with young children.
