Free!!! Worth a quick visit to stretch your legs and enjoy a beautiful walk in the park totally surrounded by flowers and Koi fish. I wish the Koi fish ponds had been a little bit cleaner, but overall, kuddos to the groundskeeper(s) for maintaining such...More

This is a beautiful place. It does not take long to walk around it, but take your time and see it all. This is a great photo stop.

The sunken gardens is what is says, beautiful plants, bushes, and pond areas sunken in a nice area of Lincoln. Although the streets next to the garden are busy therefore noisy, it doesn't distract too much from the view. This is a good place to...More

Parking can be a pain but this place is gorgeous. It doesn't cost a thing and is within walking distance of the children's zoo and a cool park. Great way to end a nice walk around Lincoln.

It's relatively small, but so wonderfully enchanting. It is close to the walking trail that Lincoln is well-known for. Why not combine a visit to The Sunken Gardens with a visit to the Bicentennial Cascade Fountain, the Rotary Strolling Garden, the Hamann Rose Garden, and...More

Perhaps the day was too hot for us to sit and relax in these nice gardens. But one could imagine it being restful and pleasant in more normal conditions.

The sunken gardens are just as pretty now as I remember them from years ago. The people do such a nice job of keeping it looking so nice. This is a must see for those that appreciate beautiful flowers, plants, trees, etc.

Yes I will be in Lincoln this year beginning of May, I would love to know what are the things I can do besides strolling in this park?

So, sorry for the delayed response, hopefully your trip hasn't come and gone already. If not let me know and I will share some of my thoughts on additional places to go.

Might seem like a silly question but is there a charge to enter or park? We are planning to visit a relative and this is less than a mile from them.

Hi! No charge, its free and wide open to the public. That said, however, its Nebraska and plants still are dormant or not planted. Taking a nice stroll down the walks can give you, however, a feel for the architecture of... More
