WE WILL OPEN AGAIN IN APRIL 2017. Rectory Farm is a long established Pick Your Own and Farm shop. It has a café attached as well. Mainly known for the wide range of crops you can Pick Your Own which include Asparagus, Strawberries, Raspberries, Gooseberries - cooking and dessert, Red and Blackcurrants, Blackberries Broad Beans, carrots and beetroot. Plus other crops that are available only ready picked including new potatoes, rhubarb and flowers. we have a team of pickers so we supply wholesale as well as retail and well able to meet any order for your barbecues and summer parties. The farm shop stocks a wide range of fruit and vegetables as well as meats from Eadles our next door farmer, artisan bread from Degustibus a local baker, a few cheeses and smoked products all locally sourced. Enough to be able to make a complete meal. Our Country Café provides light lunches and refreshments from 9.30am until about 5 pm. A large sandpit, bouncy castles and bale castle provide entertainment for the children.

Great quality fruit. Poly-tunnels and strawberries at adult waist height making picking far too easy. Cafe very good value and lots of play opportunities for infants. Good value and wholesome summer activity.

Well, after many years of visiting Rectory Farm PYO. this last visit was definitely the last. Cafe has changed for the worst, staff were abrupt almost rude. How long does it take to make a sandwich, when it isn't busy? Prices are beyond a joke.

Rectory farm no longer allow you to bring your own picnic. Fair enough. Shame that on a cloudy, quiet Saturday with very few people (cf a busy sunny day), it takes a ludicrous 40min for a sandwich to be served. Not sure how they will...More

The management have decided that picnics are no longer allowed. Their reasoning is picnickers do not 'support their business'. How bizarre. We used to come frequently with a picnic, buy lots of coffee & cake from the shop and pick lots of produce. We will...More
