Spent a few public skates at Stumptown while on vacation in Whitefish. The friendly service from the rink attendant is good as any rink I've ever been in. As well, for the middle of summer with the heat outside, the quality of the ice is excellent. Whitefish is lucky to have such a high quality facility.

Friendly & knowledgeable staff. After an equipment failure [ tore a sole out of my snowboard boot ] the boys on the mountain had me sorted with a new set of upgraded boots in minutes at a very reasonable price. Not only that, on arrival to the ski resort I asked them to set up my daughters bindings for them,... More

Went to public skating twice while visiting Whitefish. They play music and have a light show going as well. We went once in the evening, very busy. Second time was early afternoon on a weekday and it was great with lots of room to skate. If your kids are over 6 it's a little expensive as everyone pays full price,... More

On Saturdays during summer months, the Ice Den offers shows that feature young figure skaters. I took my boys (4 and 6) to the show and they loved it! The music was catchy and we all loved watching kids their age, and older, do amazing performances on ice! Cost is free for children, if in the bleachers, and $10 for... More

The arena is clean and large. The seating is on metal benches, so bring a blanket to sit on. A little tucked away and drove past it on the first try. The concession is cheap and cheerful.

Had a great time during open skate. We hadn't ice skated in over 15 years, but they gave us "ice walkers" to use for a bit until we got used to it again. Lindsay was working that day, and she was very friendly and helpful with getting our skates and such. If you need an afternoon off from skiing, this... More

We spent two days watching and playing hockey here at their Battle at the Border tourney. The rink was nice and clean and the staff was friendly. The only downfall was that there was NO heat in the rink itself while watching the games. 30 degrees outside meant 30 degrees inside.

Here for the grandson's hockey. This is a lovely facitity but metal bleachers for fans are chilly. Take something to sit on. The concession offered a limited selections of snacks but the pretzels were awesome. Very friendly staff.

Great for family ice skating and fun to watch the local hockey games on the weekends. They have rentals and a snack bar. No internet.
