Sales specialist Ashley was most helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and customer service oriented. She was very patient in helping and assisting me in finding a quality sapphire for my wife, not present. We took pictures, she spoke with my wife by offline and we bought a beautiful stone!

We have visited this place many times over the years and always have fun and enjoy our time there. Every few trips, we buy a bag of gravel and hunt for raw sapphire stones. We usually find enough to have them heat treated and faceted into finished stones suitable for mounting in a piece of jewelry. It's not uncommon to... More

The shop is quite lovely as it is housed in an historic building in Philipsburg and the setting and backdrop illuminate the gemstones perfectly. The pretty shop is worth a visit to browse even if you may not yet be a serious shopper. Staff are pleasant and helpful and the sapphires magnificent.

Don was excellent. He is the heat treatment expert at the Sapphire Gallery. He examined the stone and suggested it was better to leave it as is incase a crack came from some feather inclusions that were present in the stone that could not be seen looking down through the table but only through the side. Instead of just taking... More

Me and the wife stopped in here after ordering their gravel online several times. They where friendly and courteous. I also found the place well stocked, not only with sapphire jewelry but many other fossil and mineral samples. My wife was thrilled with the selection and picked up several items i did not see on offer anywhere else in the... More

We've made day trips several times to this sweet little treasure shop! From the moment you walk in you are taken back by the beauty of the craftsmanship of the jewelry. You go in the back, pick your bag of rocks out and that's when the fun begins! What I really like is they have an eye for what you... More

This gallery and jewel shop in Downtown Philipsburg is pretty typical...but they do offer a small bag of gravel for you to sift through, for $25.00. Of course, they'll heat-treat it, polish and facet the stones, if you like...but you can compare costs with your local professionals. If you miss the time limits of the Gem Mountain Mine on Skalkaho... More

Don't expect to "mine" a large sapphire out of the bags of dirt they have to purchase. But, looking through the dirt for sapphires was fun. We got a few small but good ones and are waiting for them to be heat treated and mailed to us. Jewelry made from the local sapphires is gorgeous. They also sell sapphire jewelry... More

Panning for sapphires was a hoot for the kids and parents as well. The staff was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and courteous. They are helpful and reasonably priced for having the gems you find heat-treated and cut.
