Years ago I had been here. When my husband and I were passing through, we decided to stop as he had never been. It truly did not disappoint. We saw bear, bison, deer, mountain sheep and more. A must visit!

The park was amazing to drive through, and we saw a lot of bisons in the distance. Sadly, we did not see any up close. However, we did see a lot of other animals up close, and enjoyed the scenic background.

The park is very nice and entrance fee is handled by the National Park permits, so if you have one it will not cost you a thing. The check in is at the visitor center which has animal displays and bathrooms. The drive is over...More

Minimum 2-3 hours if you simply drive without lingering to observe animal activity/ behavior or short hiking opportunities. Drive is actually determined by animal activity and your own interest in observation. A picnic area... More
