This narrow winding road takes you through this beautiful canyon full of trees and deer. In the fall the leaves are breath-taking.

We followed the Sam Braxton trail loop from the alltrails app. It got a little steep at one point, but then accessed a long flat ridge with great views. Perfect day hike not too far from Missoula.

Our large group had a catered BBQ at one of the picnic sites. The place is nicely wooded with ample parking and picnic tables. They had a toilet there also. We had a catered event there and it was very picturesque.
