Caras Park was a great location for the Brewfest with lots of space for the vendors and tasters! If you've not attended the brewfest yet, make your reservations early. It's normally near the end of September.

Great place to hang out and have a picnic.. Fun to see the Kayackers, surfers, skateboarders and general population wandering about this great park. It seems to be used for events nearly constantly during the summer. So one can always go and see what there...More

We love to walk in this area. Have had trouble with bikers speeding through the area when little kids are playing in the park. I was taught to walk my bike in crowded areas but this does not appear to be the norm anymore.

The best time to be had in Caras Park is any downtown event (or wedding if you rent the venue). My daughter was married there, the ceremony on the stage and the reception under the tent. It was beautiful!

There is always something going on at Caras Park. Concerts, festivals, markets! Come and see the surfers on the "wave" in the river. Visit the Carousel. This is a place to really get a flavor for Missoula.

Caras Park in downtown Missoula is really the heart of the city. Bike paths are on each side of the Clark Fork with plenty of places to stop and enjoy the scenery. Most days you can even watch kayakers in the river playing.

Parking is ample. Fee is $1 per hour. This is a pretty park wrapped around the river. This is not a flat walk around. It is hilly, so not so handicapped friendly. I was walking with a cane due to a knee injury. Public restrooms...More

This is not an overly big park, but there's enough going on to make a visit worthwhile. While we were in Missoula for the weekend, we visited the park for bands, food trucks and a farmer's market. The park is next to the river which...More
