One week-end in Missoula, MT and our group felt relaxed, calm, peaceful and inspired by the "granola", multi-cultural, urban surroundings of a town that felt like "the best of the '70's!" The Fusion Concert 2/3/17 show-cased the exceedingly talented vocal, instrumental, opera and theater programs of the University of Montana, Missoula to the extent that all felt inspired to attend... Great college for all ages. Felt safe here and the instructors are excellent. A bit confusing trying to get around at first but it just takes a couple of days.

The campus is large and open. The diverse mixture of building styles old and new compliment each other. The atmosphere isn't stuffy or pretentious. Everyone is genuinely gracious and nice.

The U of M (as it is known)has an outstanding reputation for education in the arts, media, law, sciences, and music, as well as many other available degrees. The campus is know as one of the more appealing campuses in the US. Plus, there is a great deal of activities year around in Missoula and surrounding areas all four seasons.... More

When I visited Missoula, my two daughters and I went to the University. We parked in the parking lot looked around for a little bit, the started to hike up to the M. On the hill you hike to the top where the views are excellent you can see the whole city of Missoula. If you are going to hike... More

Every time I visit Missoula I always enjoy a walk around the campus. The architecture is fairly similar throughout the campus, much like USC, which I personally like. Red brick buildings, an iconic center to campus, usable grass areas, the effort for sustainability (in the cafeteria they use a lot of their own garden greens and source a lot of... More

Our oldest just starting here and we of course visited the campus, it was beautiful. Huge trees and open spaces. Old stone buildings and great football stadium. The parking was a problem due to classes being in session but that is what one would expect.

Lots of advances in buildings and especially the football arena from when I first went there in 1969. The University Center is a must to see and go into the book store for Grizzly items. We are here for a football game with friends we used to tailgate with when we lived there 13 years ago. You should stroll around... More

We spend a lot of time at the U, in part because we are both alums. My husband loves to hike the M up the mountain and see the city from there. I'd much rather watch him from a bench below because it takes more stamina and strength than you think. It is a beautiful campus and a great place... More

Visited a friend in December (yes, it was cold). Toured the campus, went to a game and hiked up to the 'M' for stunning views of the entire landscape. Downtown is just the right size and there are a couple local breweries. Awesome!
