We take every visitor from out of town on this and it is always great to watch their expressions and listen to the stories and history. The tour guides are friendly and are aware that for many people this is their first time on the train and they never show anything but enthusiasm each time!!!

Great Local History of Helena. The guides do a great job showing you the downtown area of Helena and telling you Local stories while you ride on the tour train .

A really in depth tour of the city of Helena. It's best to take the train around and then decide what places you want to spend more time at. Really love the stories the tell on the train.

This is WELL worth the time and money IF you choose a better time to do it than we did. If the weather is bad, just go back when you can enjoy it instead of fighting the elements. The trip is extremely enjoyable as far as history goes and I'd do it again in a heart-beat!

We were impressed with the tour train. We learned so much more about the local history and we could have any other way. The guide was informative and friendly. A great value for the cost.

This tour is a must do thing when you are in Helena. Cost was good. Left on time. The people, wife & husband, were very nice and helpful with any questions that were asked of them about Helena. The tour was over ah hour. We went to a lot of places in Helena. The sounds was very good. Could always... More

This was a nice way to get a quick view of Helena and learn the history of the town. It would be best to do this on your first day in town, earlier in the day so you could learn about places worth visiting later. The biggest drawback was the limited visibility from the train cars. Unless you got a... More

Our driver/guide Boots' colorful and informative dialogue helped make this a great way to learn about Helena's historical figures and their exploits. The tour wound through several charming neighborhood we would not have otherwise seen. Riding in open air covered "rail wagons" gave us unencumbered views of all the sites we passed. Since we toured on a somewhat chilly day,... More

Thought this might be a little expensive, and maybe even a little hokey, but enjoyed every minute of it. The driver was very entertaining in his descriptions of Helena landmarks and areas of town. It was a great way to learn some quick history. Took about an hour. My kids enjoyed it as well.
