Loved the bridge! Pedestrians only. A wonderful place to walk. Saw deer in the woods on the other side. Beautiful vistas!

Walked over the bridge at twilight, saw a great horned owl on the corner of the girder of the bridge and watched him hoot repeatedly. The lights of town glittered on the surface of the water and made it a memorable evening.

If you need a bridge to go across a river this is a pretty good one. Once you are on it you can see up-river and also, remarkably, down-river too. I was amazed that I could stand above water and not get wet.

Great views over the Missouri River. Better to view in the daylight than 10 pm at night. Felt safe in town and on the bridge after dark.

It's a bridge. Grab a huckleberry ice cream cone and take a walk. Better yet take the kids let 'em run across no one is on it. Let 'em look down into the water, a great place to tell stories day and night. Enjoy the monuments, a beer near by. Support the locals at the Legion have a meal, a... More

Provided great view of the Missouri River and the levee. Located next to the chamber office and provided a good understanding of the stance of the river!!

An odd walking bridge that goes nowhere - it starts in town and simply ends at a fence! There are benches to sit on,but we were a bit confused!

You can stand on the bridge and stare out at the water and just imagine what it was like in the 1800's. The adjacent riverfront park and trail is beautiful and makes for a lovely stroll. What a beautiful spot.

As I noted in my review of the Grand Union Hotel, we walked along the river and over the bridge. We had a great view of the river from the middle, and saw several interesting birds on the far side. Looks like a good spot for a picnic, with benches and tables in the middle.

Take you time walking across the Missouri! This bridge is even lit for the evening. Plenty of benches for sitting. Just an overall lovely (and a bit romantic) bridge!
