A group of friends signed up and did enjoy our experience with Spirit of the North. There is a bit of confusion as to the location. After a phone call and a quick chat, it was all cleared up. We arrived to find 60 or so very friendly dogs, all eager to get to work. After a brief discussion covering control... More

This was the best thing I have ever done. The combination of stunning scenery, beautiful huskies and a thrilling ride, together with the hospitality of the staff made this an adventure of a lifetime. I was apprehensive beforehand but although there is a small element of risk (as with most sports) it was so well organised and professional that there... More

From the friendly staff to incredible dogs this was a one of a kind adventure. We got plenty of time to play with the dogs before heading out. We were taught everything from how to hook up the dogs to how to drive the sled. We had a beautiful journey compete with a stop to enjoy hot chocolate and homemade... More

After reading the other reviews, we were so excited to go dogsledding with Spirit of the North. It was one of the worst experiences of my life (and turned out to be one of the most deadly). The dogs were malnourished and chained to a truck, forced to sit in their own feces. We were never assigned a guide because... More

We went to the morning dogsledding run with Spirit of the North and it was the experience of a lifetime! We arrived early and got to meet all the dogs and then received instruction on how to hook them up to the sleds and even drive our own sled. When we got going, it was so exhilarating and amazing words... More

What an amazing experience! A great way to experience nature, up close and personal. The guides were great and we would definitely do it again!

Wow, what an awesome adventure! This opportunity provided lots of interaction with both the dogs and the trip guides. When you first arrive, you'll receive a briefing about how to tie the dogs to the sled harnesses and how to mush. Then, you're assigned a guide and a team of dogs, which you then tie to the sled harnesses. Two... More

My family and I had a great experience with this company. The staff was friendly and professional and very engaging with the children. They knew the names (and personalities) of each dog and took the time to explain how the sled works and what each dog's job is. We all helped hitch up the dogs and then put them away... More

Connie confirmed our reservation via email. Then gave it away the day of while yelling at me and then hanging up on me. A bitter pill for my 11 year old but I will find something else and I am glad I didn't waste my money. Read some of the positive reviews here and you will find loads of negatives... More

My friend and I decided to go dog-sledding as a "non-ski" activity while we were in Big Sky. We're so glad we did! We got to meet all the dogs and they are all so friendly. They bark a lot while putting them on their ropes before sledding, but only because they are so excited to get running!! Once they... More
