The Western Heritage Center is in the original library of Billings. The architecture of the building is absolutely lovely. There are lots of original elements, like the hardwood floors, doors including hardware, the librarians desk, radiators, windows, and beautiful spiral staircase. The library was moved...More

The Western Heritage Center is a nice stopping spot as you cruise through downtown Billings. It doesn't take too long to go through but is quite educational. I visited while they had the motorcycle exhibit which was cool with antique bikes and pictures. It has...More

This museum was a bit different then what I expected. There was a display of motorcycles and art among the exhibits. To me the most interesting part was being able to sit in a sound booth and hear the history of the song "The Hippy...More

We visited on our way from Seattle to Ohio. We weren't sure what to expect but they have some nice exhibits and very friendly staff. The native American toys were probably my favorite.

This isn't a real elaborate place but it has some very nice and varied displays. It's inexpensive and a nice way to spend an hour or two just to get an idea about the history of the area. The high school project was very nice.

The building itself is neat, a turn of the 20th century library, and it's located in the historic rough-and-tumble saloon and bawdy house area of Billings. The exhibits are kind of sparse. Still not a bad way to pass a few minutes.

This building was formerly used as a library. Now, as a heritage museum, depicts life centuries ago in Billings. Lots of fascinating information and details for the visitor. A must attraction while in Billings.
