Good lake run by army corps of engineers. Campgrounds nice, marinas and bait shops spread around the area. lake water level is usually high as it seems to be a "control" lake for Lake of the Ozarks, a very popular lake in the area.

Truman Lake is a beautiful CLEAN lake. The 1100 miles of shoreline drew me to live there. There is great fishing and large treeless area for watersports.

Truman Lake is beautiful with lots to do in the spring and summer. We have been there twice. This time it was Nov. so we just drove around to enjoy the view.

Beautiful lake. Fishing was tough the 2nd weekend of October. Good boat ramps are available, Long Shoal Marina on 12737 Steamboat Rd is a great place offering food, drinks, gas is available in the marina.

Had a great time today at the lake. It is very pretty there. We kind of rushed through the visit because we were on our way home. But I look forward to going back and visiting again

Truman Lake State Park, is a beautiful setting, with some outstanding fishing and camping areas, but please check for e coli levels, in the summer, the swim area is poorly marked, we discovered it after our 8 grandkids were in the water....

Great fishing! When we want BIG crappie and white bass we go to Truman Lake! Also a clean lake, great for boating and swimming.
