We went to the Meramec State Park, family of 6. (Children age 16 years old to 9 months) We stayed in Cabin 10A and it was a nice cabin. No wifi, which I didn't mind but the teens adjusted well! We went during the week...More

We have gone to this park for many years. We utilize the full hook-up sites. The Missouri park system needs to step up their game and spend some money on maintenance of the sites. Fire pits are tilted and not even level with with ground....More

Summer 2017. The park has mostly been fixed after the May floods earlier in the year. Still some evidence of the flooding - bathroom walls peeling, sand over much of the campground, river backs have been affected, lots of debris from the flow through the...More

Absolutely love this campground. Had a blast floating and exploring. We have a shower and bathroom in our camper, so cannot comment on the shower houses. Everyone was super friendly and the Visitors Center and General Store/Grill were great.

We went to the state park to explore Fisher Cave. We arrived for our tour a couple of minutes early, bought our tickets, and shortly thereafter entered the cave with our overly eager tour guide. The cave was neat, and as mentioned in other reviews,...More

This poor state park has been, once again, destroyed by a recent flood! I believe it hasn't been this damaged since the flood of 1993. It used to be a park that families could come to for picnics, camping, fishing, canoeing and river boat cruising....More

Amazing from the beginning to the end. We can because my dad brought us when we were kids and it was something that I had never forgotten and I will never forget . I hope it was something my kids won't forget either

Our grandchildren loved the outdoors..the paths..the little creeks..water.. If you go early in the summer ..it isn't too hot. There are plenty of shade trees...take water and enjoy!

Sorry we have never stayed in the cabins. Plenty to do here- hiking, river rafting, cook outs, cave exploring, fishing, rock beach area etc. It is quiet and beautiful. My favorite camping spot.

Yes. A major campground. Includes showers and decent bathroom facilities. Plan ahead, though, as it is often to capacity on holiday weekends.

As far as I know it doesn't cost anything to hike. You should google Meramec State park and ask them.. They'd know best.
