From crossing cow pastures (with the cows there) to twisty sections through the woods, with the hills you expect in MO but none too steep, we found this a great trail to walk or take our hybrids on, NOT good for road bikes.

This trail provides some nice rural scenery on the edge of a busy city. Great for biking or hiking. Having Wilson-Rutledge farm as a destination is a plus as well (another recommended place to visit).

This trail is coming along nicely. They just connected some new segments. Nice wooded trail in most parts, with some steep hills. If you are bored with the long flat lengths of the Frisco Highline Trail or others in the Springfield area, give this one a try!

We wanted to find a nice trail to walk during our vacation time in Springfield and this gave us a nice option. It's a pretty average trail. We parked at Rutledge Wilson Farm Community Park (which looked awesome to bring kids to) and joined the trail from there. Walked south for 1.5 miles along the creek and behind some neighborhoods and then turned around to head back to our car.

A great overview of what might of been the first battles of the civil war. Also lost of scenic views and walks.
