The Fabulous Fox Theatre first opened in 1929 as a movie palace in William Fox's motion picture empire. The theatre was reopened in 1982, and today it is one of the most exquisite venues in the country to enjoy live touring Broadway shows, concerts, and comedians. We hope you'll visit us for an upcoming show or one of our guided tours!

We opted for the guided tour of this beautifully ornate building. It's difficult to explain the incredible attention to detail throughout the building. Since there wasn't a performance going on at the time we were there, we got to see all of the backstage spaces....More

This is a wonderful place to attend a concert, view a theatrical show or witness a standup performance. It's old time charm (originally opened as part of the Fox Movie chain in 1929), is still kept vibrant. Restored in the 1980s, and expanded in the...More

Such a great opportunity to visit one of the grand old movie theaters the way big old city theaters used to be. They still do show movies now and then, but mostly it's the main stage for stage musicals. Lots of comfortable seating and they...More

One of the most incredible places you'll ever see. The old building is a site to see. Our family has been there to see different shows over the years and every time we go we're just amazed at the site of this beautiful place.

We love coming to the Fox Theatre to see a show, especially around Christmas time. The less expensive seats are under the balcony on the first floor and are really awesome seats for the low price (as low at $25 a performance). We do make...More

I really enjoy the world class talent at the fox theatre. During the holidays especially, the beautiful breathtaking handcarved woodwork and high ceilings are remarkable. There are nice restrooms and snacks at the bar for the whole family.

As a child, my grandmother took me to see movies at the Fox. Long ago renovated, the Fox is a beautiful example of a grand theatre, hosting both concerts and plays and musicals. My daughter and I have enjoyed many performances there, from Norah Fox...More

I think if someone is over 300 pounds, they would be uncomfortable. However, there are areas in the balcony seated at tables and other special seating available that might be a bit more comfortable.

This theater, while having better than average acoustics (red velvet everywhere), is very deep. You are smart to ask the question because it is easy to be disappointed with your tickets. There is a seating chart in... More
