Great compilation of works from many time periods and geographic locations. My teen sons particularly enjoyed the mummy room which included x-rays of the 3 mummies. We browsed the entire museum but I can imagine spending more time here on another day!

I enjoyed the museum, not the employees. The art was nice and the grounds were beautiful . The good thing is it is free but closes early.

You can't go wrong going here. The best part is it's free. The view out front is amazing. Our favorite place in the city is sitting on art hill in front of the museum

Got out of a business meeting early and spent an hour here before my flight. This is a really great art museum. I highly recommend it even if you only have an hour. It is also on the way to the airport from down town.

Soooo big and spread out. Hard to find a couple of exhibits. Kids got bored after one floor. Lots of variety between cultures, artistic styles, sculptures, furniture...tons of variety.

I've been to many art and history museums all over the world. This gem is amazing! and I was pleasantly surprised to find such an extensive collection of exquisite drawings, portraits, paintings, sculpture, clothing, armor, furniture, and ancient artifacts on this side of the "pond." Just to name a few artists: Durer, Rembrandt, De Vinci, Van Gough, Picasso, Gainsborough, Monet,... More

I have been going to the St. Louis art museum since I was a small child and it never fails to impress. The displays are majestic and the art is amazing and there is definitely something for everyone! We recently went with two other couples and could not believe how much time passed by the time we left.

There were an incredible amount of pieces of artwork and artifacts from all over the world. we spent two days here and we still could not get through everything but we took our time reading all the descriptions and found many of the pieces very interesting. I recommend picking up a map at the desk so you can guide yourself... More
