A mixture of ponds, fountains, sculptures and art gave a little respite from walking alongside a busy road when heading to and from the downtown area.

This is a nice small park with a variety of plants and architecture to look at. We found the walk through the walk relaxing. "Death in Afternoon" restaurant is on one corner and has a nice view of the park.

We got here pretty early on a Sunday morning and there was hardly anyone here. If you come on Sunday, street parking is free (no meter fee). The park is full of quirky, fun art. It was interesting to walk around and take pictures of...More

City Garden has wonderful sculptures and an excellent view of the arch! We had fun checking out the sculptures for about 45 minutes. Parking is 25 cents per 10 minutes around the park which wasn't terrible. I wasn't sure how much time to set aside....More

A number of years back, we heard the plans to take out some of the bare green space "islands" in the city and convert them to this new City Garden idea. Long story short, it turned out far better than I ever expected. It may...More

A nice, fun spot to visit while in the City. Lots of whimsy and greenery. A great place to spend a little time taking a walk, sitting and enjoying the sculpture or taking a quiet few moments. Another free treasure within the City!

Not sure this rates as a destination worthy of hours, but when walking back from the City Museum to our hotel, I am glad we made it a point to work this into our route. The flowers were lovely and the kids had fun climbing...More

This park in the middle of concrete, steel, and asphalt is truly a nice escape. The park is great for just a stroll and to view some whimsical and/or unique sculptures. I have attended a variety of events there including concerts, Christmas events, and others.

Good question! I walked up the street to the Old Union Station (Hilton Curio Hotel) and found restrooms in the lobby.
