It gets harder to find attractions for seniors but this is definitely one older travelers will enjoy and very accessible, even younger travelers will find the mosaics an unbelievable sight to see.

Amazing mosaics throughout. Very interesting museum at a lower level that details the history of the mosaics and the father/son team that dedicated their lives to its beauty and stories. That there is a cathedral basilica in St. Louis, MO is almost a best-kept secret.

It is hard to put into words the beauty and majesty of the Cathedral Basilica. It is awe inspiring while being spiritual. Whether you are Catholic or not, it is a magnificent piece of architecture.

Many times I have visited this majestic Cathedral. And I am not exaggerating to say every time I walk in the main doors it takes my breath away more than any church I've ever been in in my life.

The glittering gold mosaics on the ceiling reminded me of St. Mark's in Venice! Absolutely beautiful, and you can snap pictures to your heart's content! A must-see.
