Beautiful murals on the ceilings and the walls, a variety of different colored marble used in the pillars throughout the cathedral. Take the tour, you'll enjoy it. This parish is also my preferred place of worship in the city.

Regardless of your religion, this place is a must see. The largest expanse of mosaics in the world -- even greater than Santa Sophia in Istanbuhl. Everything is on a huge scale. You won't be disapointed.

The mosaics are amazing. For an American cathedral, its size and art is amazing. On the other hand, was it a good use of charitable donations?

We spent about an hour wandering through this elegant structure. It was a relaxing visit prior and such an interesting counterpoint to the modernity of the Arch that lies close-by.

This cathedral is a must see event. I went to noon mass on a Sunday. The church is very beautiful and moving. You don't get this experience often.

A wedding was taking place when I arrived at this spectacular, so I went to the Mosaic Museum in the basement. If you visit this church, I would strongly encourage you to visit the Mosaic Museum in the basement. This small museum explains and shows...More
