Soulard Market is the oldest farmers market west of the Mississippi established in 1779 and is open Wednesday-Saturday. We have 13 local farmers, 1 organic farmer, a florist and spice shop, and many produce vendors. The market also carries a variety of other general merchandise like shirts, jewelry, incense, sports memorabilia, hand made soaps, carpet, photography and hand made crafts. We are open 52 weeks a year, and feature live music and concerts when weather permits. In addition, we host the Soulard Farmer’s Day Festival, Oktoberfest, Greater STL Hispanic Festival on the grounds. Our location is within a mile of Busch Stadium, Anheuser-Busch Brewery, the Gateway Arch & Riverboat Cruises, and the National Blues Museum. Our neighborhood is home to approx. 40 restaurants & bars, historic homes, and live music 7 days a week.

I love fresh fruit and veggies as well as nick knacks so this was a very fun visit! It was sprinkling the day we went but since it’s under cover it was still a great visit!

An. Excellent place to go to get fresh fruits and vegetables. There is a wide variety of all kinds of food. There is a meat shop and a place for spices. They usually have other items for sale. Purses and flowers and other things.

I love the atmosphere of Soulard Market! It has everything you need. Saturdays are their busiest days. Make sure you get there early to avoid the crowds. It's located just south of the main downtown area. If you head further south you end up at...More

This is one of the best farmers markets in the Midwest. It is vendor after vendor of fresh produce, but also a variety of other goods including a meat market. Everything here makes you mouth water for making your next recipe.
