This is definitely a zoo to see!!

Parking is $15, but admission is free. A few exhibits have fees (including tickets to ride the train), but we did not do any of those so cannot comment on them here! Our whole family loved this museum. Our youngest is 2, and there was plenty to keep her entertained - including the many low-lying rocks throughout the trails that... More

We got there and the lady at the office did know answers to our questions. Walked around saw no big cats or the big monkeys was not until we went inside buildings that we saw animals. I told my husband no wonder its free you do not see any animals. Drinks over priced and having to pay to park ,... More

Having been to a few zoos this one disappointed me with regard to animal welfare. Some of the big cats were obviously distressed and were pacing there small enclosures in a distressed state. The polar bear was forced to swim in a small aquatic cell. None of the larger inhabitants appeared to be happy or content, all were displaying signs... More

Pick a cool day to go. My children love this place. My wallet does too, it's free! The penguins and puffins exhibit is the place to go when it's hot out. The elephants are really cool to see too. If you have all day you can also go to the science center if it's too hot.

This was our second trip to the zoo. We decided to visit for a few hours on our way out of town. It was $12 for us to park. I have heard there is some free parking somewhere, but I did not know how to find it. I just counted it as a cheap admission for 6 people. We did... More

Parking is $12 per car, $30 per RV. The Zoo itself is free and a great outing for children. It is well laid out with outdoor and indoor exhibits of animals. Food is readily available but a bit expensive. Loved the polar bear and penguin areas. There are some pay areas like children's zoo, carousel and a 4D show; we... More

I have been to multiple zoos in many cities from Cincinnati, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Houston, and other animal parks from all over the U.S. I know the cities I mentioned are pretty random. This zoo though is outstanding. The habitats are great. There is a polar bear, a great penguin habitat where you are literally arms length from the penguins.... More

We live in St Louis and I decided to buy a Zoo membership and take my 4 and 6 yr old kids early Sat morning to avoid the crowds and heat. We arrived about 7:40am. The south parking lot was still setting up so they waived us in without paying the $15 fee for parking. If you're willing to walk... More

My wife loves going to zoos. I however, am not usually a fan. Something about the smell of feces, little kids, and sweating in public. However, I quickly changed my view after only a few minutes in the zoo. Granted there were still the occasional whiff of grape shot and kids galore, however the weather cooperated and much of part...
