Very detailed where he lived his last 100 days of his life. Very informative that this was really him, by using DNA evidence when it came available.

We found ourselves in the area and walked over after the Pony Express Museum. It was a tiny (basically) three-room museum but it was interesting to see the house and some artificers. The staff member shared some interesting lore that was mentioned in the displays,...More

This museum was just ok. I mean it's worth the trip if your in town but not so much worth driving out of your way for. Staff was friendly and the played a little audio to describe what went down. This house has. Even moved...More

We enjoyed seeing this house as a piece of St. Joe history. The man working at the museum was knowledgeable and we enjoyed chatting with him. There's also an audio recording overhead which is helpful and informative.

Very quaint and very interesting. Lots to see and learn about. The house tour was very cool. It was really cool to see the historic sites.

This small house is outfitted and decorated in the proper historical period décor, with real artifacts and furniture dating back to the 1870's. For those who have not been indoctrinated with western American history, it can be much more interesting. It is not a "Hands...More

Hours of Operation: January through March Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. April through October Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
