Well presented museum of a fascinating story of American ingenuity and will power. We have it so much easier now. Hard to imagine what these people went through.

We didn't have long before closing time (5 pm), but we sure enjoyed the history blurbs, displays, and the wonderful artwork mixed in between.

A very interesting place with things to do for the children and not a long boring museum. Learn the history of the settlers as they crossed the country.

The Pony Express is iconic of the American West, even though it only existed for 18 months. This museum does a great job of telling the story and also provides some activities for kids to do to keep their interest.
