There were some interesting facts regarding the history but nothing out of the ordinary. Best part is it's closeness to other things to do in the area.

The Boathouse is so interesting. Adults learn so much and children are fascinated with the history and the scavenger hunt for different animals throughout the museum. My grandchildren love it. We recently took visitors from Indiana and they spent so much time enjoying following the...More

I love the legend of Lewis and Clark. So when I went to run the Katy Trail in St Charles Mo, I stumbled into the L&C Boat House. This is small, and focused on the boats they used. Informative and you see true working replicas...More

I'm afraid that this is pretty lame. It cost $5 each adult to get in and was not worth it. Displays were dated and/or silly. There was some interesting info but not for $5 each. It took us maybe 15 minutes to go through.

This is a small museum in St. Charles, MO (about 25 mins from downtown STL). This museum has the whole history of the Lewis and Clark expedition. It's well-laid out and has a reasonable admission fee ($5/adult, kids $2). There is a video to watch...More

Our first visit to the display area and upstairs museum. They have done a good job of telling the story of Lewis and Clark's expedition. The find and identify the wildlife is a cute game for the kids. The displays are well done. A short...More

This small little museum is definitely worth visiting. This is wheelchair accessible. Admission is only $5 for adults, and children are only $2. Very affordable for a family. This museum might be small, but it is stuffed full with information that you won't want to...More
