Ship tourism is a major source of revenue for this small locale. If you're in the area it is a pleasant stop. The cathedral is unique as it is all made of wood. Some other old houses remain from mid-1800's. Enjoy.

Positive experiences The drive was was tremendous. It is so unique and different. Friendly people. Be adventurous! You do not need to take the entire perimeter loop . We went half way 3 hours and turned back around.

With the golds, oranges and occasional reds, the farms, the immaculate roadside homes and yards and of course, Perce, 3 days or more driving around the peninsula are so very worthwhile.

Do you have any other clues? Unfortunately, that describes most buildings in the Gaspé, and the Xmas display could have been temporary. There are some places that sell Xmas year round, if that is what you are looking for.
