So when was the last time you went somewhere and it cost you nothing to park? This is such a beautiful spot. I took my 3 year old grand-daughter and she enjoyed every minute of the experience. We had a lovely walk along what I...More

Free, large carpark. Decent coffee shop offering hot and cold food. Great for pushchairs but be aware that the 'stroller path' runs alongside water. Dog friendly. Remember your poo bags or ask a friendly walker if you forget. Like I did! Highly recommend for anytime...More

This is a lovely park which was near our hotel and family. So peaceful in the heart of Manchester. Had a lovely time feeding the ducks. We walked through a couple of times and it was lovely.

Daisy nook is local to us, can be muddy so don't go in your finest. Grate place to walk dogs, has a park for kids, and a cafe. You can spend 30minuets or 3 hours walking round the different paths.

Parked at the country park cafe just up the road from the garden centre. Had some soup, sandwiches and a brew. Then walked along the remains of the canal, up past the two sets of old locks and the basins. Along a short length of...More

Had a great time today, lots of walking and lovely animals/wildlife to see! Downside is there is not enough signposts to tell you where to go. It would be good to have machines with duck food in to get but had a great time

Do not be fooled by the name. There are no daisies, nooks or countries in the this park. The 3 mini ponds are camouflaged by algae. The 2 exciting adventure playgrounds are neither exciting nor adventurous. The paths are festooned with litter and dog poo....More
