Tucked away in a little corner of Missouri near a fabulous park is a statue dedicated to the life of Omar Bradley. Also in this same area all veterans of all the wars starting with WW1 are honored including War dogs and their handlers. This is a peaceful place with lots of interesting information. Worth the drive!

The statue itself is in the center of a tribute to American veterans, and one tablet for the war dogs. It's nicely arranged and simple but still a stirring monument.

I had the chance to actually visit the memorial a month ago and take my family. It is only of the great things to see in Rothwell Park. If you are a history buff, or just enjoy learning new things this is something that you should visit.
