My husband and I have eagerly awaited this trip to the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum and homesteads and it was so enjoyable! We loved the personal items and the history of hers and Almanzo's two houses were very informative and well preserved!

We loved seeing the place where so many of our daughter's favorite books were written. The docents at bothe original house and the Rock House were very friendly, informative and knowledgible. The surrounding area is very photographable.

I really enjoyed visiting the Wilder home and museum. We didn’t have time to take the farmhouse tour, but the rock house was very interesting since it was where Laura began writing the “Little House” series. The museum was also nice in that it contained...More

We thought both houses were maintained well and the history was very interesting. Our guide really told the story well and was very entertaining. $14 seemed high for a 15 minute tour and then you are on your own at the Rock House. Maybe a...More
