excellent historic place to visit. I think Harry S. Truman was one of the best presidents ever to be in the white house. He become president at a very bad time in history.

I love touring here. They are very knowledgeable and very friendly. The area is clean and safe and there are places to sit and relax. There is also a gift shop. If you are going thru Lamar Missouri stop and learn some history.

Along Route 66 is Harry S. Truman Birthplace State Park. Were given a guided tour of the home. This is a very historic place to visit and it doesn't take much time, two hours at the most.
