Saw The Piano Guys, the place is definitely historic looking and there is evidence of the place needing upgrades. Squeaky chairs, poor signage to seats/sections. HOWEVER, the acoustic/sound was fantastic. Cant find fault there.

We went to see the Piano Guys for the first time and this was everyone's first visit to the Midland. The sound was great. We were in the first row of the 4th level. We could see very well but the seats were pretty uncomfortable....More

The area within the main floor sections is not slanted, so unless you are seated on the front row of the section, or are very tall, your view will be restricted by the persons in front of you. My wife and I are both short...More

Great show and venue. Hadn't been there in while. Beautiful all the way around. Only negative to keep from a five rating. Power hungry security lady rudely took my very small 1|4 inch pocket knife..really first of all and her attitude was horrible and was...More

Every event we go to at the Midland is fantastic. It is just large enough to attract interesting entertainers, but small enough to feel personalized. Have seen musical acts and also authors on book tours here and the venue is perfect for both.

Large venue, good help from ushers. We had 2nd row seats in the middle.......can't get much closer. The seats were not very comfortable. It was a folding chair. You would think paying for tickets so close you would have more comfortable seats. The acoustics were...More

I have been to this theatre many times. This last visit was to see Lewis Black, comedian. I had never sat up in the top level before, but purchased tickets there for this show. With the exception of the comedians on the stage being far...More

I paid $240 for two seats to see one of my favorite musicians. The seats were on the main floor on the aisle. Perfect! Uhhh ... not quite. The tiers aren't sloped. Unless you're 9 feet tall, you can't see anything unless you're in the...More

I was here for a charity event which is a nice idea although the venue was only just about up to it. I love these classic theaters though with their ornate designs and throwbacks to past times. For example downstairs there are still booths from...More
