Just saw Bonnie Rait perform at the Midland and her voice rang clear and true. The theatre is a classic, the way they used to build them with acoustics in mind. Even Bonnie Riat was declaring how beautiful it was for her to sing there....More

This is a very old theater and just beautiful with such an ornate interior. It is in need of renovation and update but is quite lovely. It's small enough that there are no bad seats and the sound is very, very good. My only complaint...More

Recently I had the opportunity to attend an event at the Midland and the theater is amazing. It has the opulence of a much grander hall but in a somewhat smaller format. It makes you feel like you've stepped back in time to the roaring 20's....More

We visited to see Celtic Thunder and, yes the show was good. The theatre was an impressive old-school theatre with a lot of ornate decorations. Probably the best part was how well trained and friendly their staff was. It was busy, but everyone was friendly...More

All seats have great views, not exactly comfortable but you can see the stage from all areas, Acoustics are good for such an old building

The old theatre is beautiful, but since the floor does not slope downward, nobody but the first two or three rows of seats could see Vince Gill at all. The acoustics were so bad that when he talked to the audience, we could not even...More

A very nice older historic theater. A great venue, comfortable, and great sound too. It's been kept up very well for sure.

Have been to this venue many, many times. Saw Tony Bennett there twice. Really, not a bad seat in the house, Acoustics are quite good for the age of the theater. Staff is both professional and friendly. Great for concerts as well as plays. It...More

We went to see Alton Brown's Eat Your Science show. It was great. The venue was beautiful and it was nice that we were able to purchase large drinks from the bar next door and bring in to the show.

which seats would be the best for Max and Val tour? I looked at the seating chart, but it doesn't really show me what i want to know, it's confusing, it has balcony seats being the same price or higher than what the floor might be, is there a way of showing me where the best seats are for this event?

If you sit in the lower level/floor it has folding chairs in the first third and there is very little elevation so I won't sit there as I'm short and usually can't see anything at all. Also, for many things people on the... More

I parked in the garage just to the north of the Midland. It's under the building right next door and was the most convenient when we went. The weather was icy that night so we didn't have far to walk. It is $10, but it was... More
