Truly stunning at the holidays and the Santa train is so FUN! My boys love this tradition but best to get tickets in advance.

Love coming to Union Station, there is always something going on here. Just went to see the Pompeii exhibit and it was awesome and the best I have sen yet. It was very informative and it wows and amazes you all at once.

Wonderful architecture with a few good restaurants, a small but expanding science "museum" for kids, and top touring exhibits(for a fee). Decorations and Lego train exhibits at Christmas are very festive.

Wow should just about do it. Well organized and displayed artifacts from Pompeii. Start with the way life was lived in the ancient Roman city and follow through to its sudden death and disappearance for more 1600 years. The multi-dimensional film where you watch it as it may have happened was quite revealing. Heart rending and fascinating all at once.... More

The theater is a decent, typical 3D movie amphitheater. Clean, well maintained with the gigantic screen and thundering sound system you'd expect for such a theater. I took the grandkids on a recent winter day, school day off for a 10:30 am screening of a 3D documentary about the US National Park System. A great film, very well done with... More

The grand world represented by classic railroad stations like this always provoke awe, and a look into life of the past. Stunning building and design, great setting. Good food coffee shops and science city make this a great day beginning to end.

Wow! It is beautiful. Fun to imagine how it would have been to travel by train. We did not attend because of train travels, but to see the Pompeii exhibit. Well worth the time and money. After the exhibit---was also wowed by the toy trains and how many of them there were. Definitely a family friendly place to visit. Will... More

More then a working train station. There are bars and restaurants and showcases. Clean and comfortable for walking around and plenty of places to stop to shop, eat or just dine and visit.
