Although this is a smaller botanical garden, it does not lack in beauty and serenity. It is extremely well kept and best of all, FREE! The flowers are seasonal so some things were flowering and some had just finished. The pool and statuary was beautiful. Even the parking lot was serene! It's not an alldayer but well worth going to... More

Anyone who visits the Nelson-Atkins Museum or elsewhere in this area should stop for a few minutes at this beautifully maintained little garden. It is redone every season - visit frequently and watch it change.

Kauffman Memorial Garden is a memorial to Ewing and Muriel Kauffman. It is a very small, but ever so pretty formal garden. It was a pleasure walking through this garden and taking in the flowers, ornamental trees and bushes, the pool, fountains and the fairy type sculptures. There are also a few benches along the garden paths where one can... More

I've visited often. It has different flowers blooming at different times of the year. I love to take photos. Fountains, plants, statues inside a walled garden, on a weekday during the day you can almost be there alone. So calm and relaxing. There is a trail that goes right by and if you walk behind the building across the street... More

KC has many gardens, but this was recommended as the largest and best. It is completely charming, but it was smaller than I expected. Greenery, flowers, statues, and a large pond are delightful.

My family found the Kauffman Gardens on a tour through KC, and were amazed that we had never heard of it before! It is located somewhat out-of-the-way from the hustle of Downtown Kansas City. The flowers are all so beautiful, and the layout is nice and spacious. It’s open all year round, so you can visit whenever. It’s also free,... More

These gardens are so beautiful and serene. It was a very relaxing place to wander around and then sit and rest. The flowers, trees and shrubs are well-kept and marked. It also smells lovely.

Quiet, beautiful, uncrowded, free. What more could you want? Just a beautiful lace with lots of great plants in the facility. Take 30-60 minutes to stop and visit. Highly recommended.

We visit the Garden at least once a month, its a jewel amongst the hustle and bustle of Kansas City's Plaza and Downtown. Expert gardeners have transformed the space of a football field into a secret garden like dream. Enjoy plants, flowers, and water works not seen in the normal day to day. Its worth the stop to enjoy the... More
