Great piece of Kansas City History. Full of life on the weekends with places to eat and listen to music. If you're a real jazz buff then stick around to wee hours of the morning and you'll catch jam sessions at the musician's guild. First...More

This historic district is fine but really limited. You can check it out when visiting the museums since they are side by side then get some BBQ nearby. Worthwhile regardless.

Flowing with history. Jazz Museum, Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, Castle Police Office, Arthur's Bryant's BBQ just down the street. This is a nice place for a stroll down memory lane...

We were in the 18th and Vine area when we went to see the Jazz Museum and Negro Baseball Museum. There are a few shops and restaurants in the area. Nothing big enough to make it worth a separate visit though.
