Water, water everywhere

More fountains than any city except Rome. It's a fact. See as many as you can. Don't forget the ones at Kauffman Stadium.

Kansas City has beautiful fountains - actually more fountains than Rome! It is always a surprise for many people to visit this lovely town. People are friendly, lots of great restaurants?

Awesome! they need to have a tour for out-of-towners. And if they already have it, they should advertise more about it.

Such a variety of fountains all over the city. I have not seen one that is outstanding, yet, but it is great fun to see how many you can find as you travel around

Nice to see lots of fountains, but you get quite used to it fast. They are colored in special occasions, and make a nice view from the plaza.

I was in KC for a conference and as part of the activities they gave us a scavenger hunt to find all the fountains that were around. They're gorgeous and add a lot to the character and architecture of the area. A definite 'must-see' if you're in KC.

Love the Spanish inspired tile fountains. They are beautiful, colorful and some are a sudden surprise as one walks around Country Club Plaza

We boarded the bus and we were off. We started downtown and saw, I'm guessing 15-20 fountains from downtown to the Country Club area. We had a great time stopping periodically and taking pictures but mostly learning about the history of the fountains and why they were built the way they were. It's definitely worth the tour.

The ones I saw were very beautiful - reminded me of Europe. But, based on the hype, I expected many more of them, Perhaps I did not get around enough. Would be cool of KC produced a "fountian map"!

Don't go looking for fountains in February. I had a list of fountains I had wanted to see but the most famous one was in repair as were 2 others .so if you are walking l would suggest you ask someone first about their condition first so you don't spend hours walking around and disappointed
