There are plenty of interesting things from Joplin's colorful past b it reminds you of a flea market once inside. Lot's of old stuff displayed everywhere n an old building feeling facility.

Doesn't live up to the hype in local brochure. Terrible museum effort for a city this size with such a rich history. Woman at the front desk is more worried about her cats escaping through the front door than customer service.

Lots of mining history. Lots of local history too. Was worth the $2. Dropped my trailer at the truck stop first.

Great introduction to the mining history of Joplin. Some interesting equipment to see. The attached Museum is very good too. I think what is on exhibit changes.
